Consider CAN projects for your year-end donations. Your donation will help fund a certification program for small-scale farmers in Chiapas, México. Or, provide support for training programs to develop youth leadership in food security projects and community outreach in central Veracruz State, México.

CAN Nicaragua Scholarship Program sends rural community organizers to school!

Ten rural community organizers, ranging in age from 19-43 years old, received scholarships through CAN’s Nicaragua Scholarship Fund to continue their education. Scholarships supported them in paying for school fees, materials, transportation, and lunches during the 2011 school year. The fund helped two students attend secondary school, and eight students attend technical school or university.
