University Affiliation

There are a lot of reasons for universities to get involved with CAN’s growing network:

• Experiential learning opportunities for undergraduates both on campus and in Latin American farming communities

• Fair Trade-Direct coffee in university dining halls comes from Latin American farms where students engage in field internships

• Participatory Research available in Mexico and Central America where researchers work with farmers on conservation, sustainable farming and livelihood struggles
