Food Insecurity

This study is identifying the causes of food insecurity in 13 municipalities in the Yucatán Peninsula and then identifying areas of opportunity to implement long-term, small-scale, and business-oriented strategies. Understanding the status of local interactions among natural, community, social and food systems, will identify the causes of food insecurity in these municipalities and ultimately help to establish techniques for a more secure food system.
