CAN International Youth Network for Food Security

"CAN uses an integrated approach to real-life problems. Engaging youth to help tackle complex social issues holds great promise as a sustainable means of addressing rural-to-urban migration and seasonal hunger in rural Latin America."

— John L. Crary, Trustee
The Crary Family Foundation

CAN International Youth Network for Food Security, a two-year initiative, targets the youth population of rural communities in Mexico and Central America, providing them with the necessary skills, techniques, and knowledge to create locally-owned businesses that will provide support to CAN’s ongoing agroecology-based food security projects.
