Field Study Internship

puppet showCAN field internships are rich learning experiences that allow students to make a difference as they learn. This experiential learning program offers university students the opportunity to live and learn in rural Mesoamerica. Interns work along side farmers and community organizations to become exposed to the realities of global trade systems.

  • CAN provides an interdisciplinary curriculum to guide your field experience including resources for social action upon return.
  • Academic credit can be arranged through the field study internship office at your university.
  • Qualified non-students may also serve as interns or volunteers in CAN partner communities.
